Nadine Barnard

Head of Operations & Development

Sport has always been at the heart of what I do. My sport was gymnastics, and I started my career as a gymnastics coach before training as a PE teacher and have since worked across the sports sector — from Local Authorities and Active Partnerships to British Gymnastics, where I supported both community and performance programmes.

At Parkour UK, I manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation and oversee our membership, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion work, and the implementation of our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP). I’m also the organisation’s Safeguarding Lead, lead on Sport England reporting, and contribute to a range of exciting projects across the organisation. I’m passionate about creating positive, inclusive opportunities that help people thrive through movement.

Outside of work, I love adventure and travel — I’ve backpacked around the world, worked on cruise ships, and lived in South Africa and Australia — though these days my greatest adventure is life with my young son.
